Welcome Events

Providence in a Nutshell

Providence is a church where God is moving. God is drawing people of all ages to become a part of His family at Providence. We are thrilled to be a part of this move and invite you to visit us. Once you do, we believe you'll stay.

When you visit, you will find the worship inspiring. With a blend of traditional and contempory music, along with practical, biblical teaching, worshippers find God speaking to their deepest needs.

Relationships are vital to the overall ministry of the Providence family. We focus on three primary relationships ~ our relationship with God, our relationship with one another, and relationships with those who might have a need we can meet. Our vehicles for building these relationships are Grow Groups (our relationship with God), Play Groups (our relationships with one another ... and yes, we PLAY), and Go Groups (our relationships with those who might have needs we can meet). To see what these groups are about, you can "click" on the group names above, or simply navigate to the page using the menu on the page.

Whether you are a part of the Providence family, a member of another church, or not really sure what you think about God or church, we gladly welcome anyone and everyone to visit and become a part of our groups. Please visit us.  I'd love to have you as my personal guest.  If you have questions about our church family, God, or anything in general, I'd love to treat you to coffee or lunch. Together, we'll find the answer to your questions.

Blessings,
Pastor John

Girls & Guys Retreats

Okay, so that’s really not breaking news.  The Fall Guys and Girls Retreats are designed to give both genders time to talk and learn about how to find healthy ways to share what is going on in their lives with others that care about them.  Also, learn how to be that friend with which their friends can share their T.M.I.  Although in two separate locations, both groups will focus on the same topic.

To register for either retreat, please click on the Fall Retreat graphic above. For more information, please call Paul Batson at 704-455-2813.
