About Us

We live in a world that is filled with emptiness. It seems the world’s solutions for emptiness leaves us feeling even more empty. At Providence, our vision is to help people by “Filling the Emptiness.” God did not intend on those He created and loves to have such emptiness as a constant companion in their lives. We believe that a life is possible that is full of meaning, purpose, hope, and love. A life like that is found in and through a relationship with God, relationships with one another, and relationships with those who might have a need we can meet. Providence is a church commited to doing whatever it takes to help people "fill the emptiness" in their lives. 

Providence Baptist Church is a growing church, just outside of metropolitan Charlotte that is asking the question, “What would God have us do?” as we serve in our world. Just Northeast of Charlotte, Providence Baptist Church is easy to find.

You will find our Grow Groups, beginning at 9:45 AM, alive with good Bible teaching and fellowship. Our two morning worship services, 8:30 AM & 11 AM, are a blend of “traditional worship,” with familiar hymns and structures; blended with “contemporary worship,” with choruses, drama, video presentations, and large screen projected worship aids.
