GROW Groups

We are a dynamic and active, college and career, singles class. Most of our members are in the 18 - 25 age range. We enjoy in-depth traditional Bible study, as well as topical, current culture, provocative spiritual studies. We have a lot of fellowship opportunities, along with service and mission activities.

 

The Cornerstone class is a group of single and married young men and women, in their 20’s, seeking fun filled Bible study and fellowship! We are motivated to GROW our relationships with God and each other, to GO serve our community and share the love of Jesus Christ, and to celebrate the life we have with our PLAY.

 

Young Adults consists of married couples in their 20s and 30s (some closer to 40s!) who generally do topical studies on a variety of subjects. We are a discussion based class led by seasoned teacher David Foust.

 

Band of Brothers is an all men’s class that encourages spiritual growth, personal integrity, and brotherly fellowship. We dig deep into God's word to find real answers to real life issues and questions. We are striving to make a difference in our families, our church and our world.

 

The Ladies Living Word Bible Fellowship Ministry is a Sunday morning women's class. This group is comprised of all ages and status of women--singles, grandmothers, career women, home-schooling moms, wives, sisters, daughters, and most of all--FRIENDS. We are serious about Bible study, our love for the Lord, and our accountability to one another. Opportunities for serious spiritual growth abound within this group. We also offer an outside, independent Bible study which meets every other Monday night, a monthly prayer meeting on each 2nd Thursday evening, and frequent social events--formal and informal--close to home and road trips. Come grow with us!

 

The New Hearts Class is made up of a wide variety of adults from 35 to 60+ who want to nurture a close personal relationship with God and share it with others. We are a combination of couples, singles, parents, and grandparents. We have a heart for prayer and missions. Our Bible study focuses on topics that are relevant in today’s culture and approached from a Biblical perspective. We like to have fun and laugh a lot. Our goal is to grow closer to God by developing a better understanding of who He is and what He desires for and from us.

 

A couples class, ages 45-60. We are an active class, with many members participating in other areas of church service.  All of the members are encouraged to participate in the class discussions. Teachers are Phil Provin and Rody Carland, who alternate teaching on a monthly basis. We encourage other members to teach the class at times.

 

If you are looking for a Sunday School class of middle aged couples who have succeeded, for the most part, in becoming empty nesters, Great Expectations may be your answer. We challenge each other week to week as we explore the Scriptures looking at how we may share our witness and make a difference in the lives of the people we come in contact every day. We strive to Learn more about the Word, Laugh more at ourselves and increase our Love of Christ! You’re welcome to come and be a part of the Great Expectations!

The "JOY" class is a group of caring women who are supportive of each other. Our class atmosphere is one of "JOY", love, openness and honesty. We have Bible study time and also a little "girl time". We are married, widowed and single women of varied ages. We attempt to study a variety of materials that relate to each of us where we are at particular times in our lives. We are united because we are women, but more importantly, because we have a deep love for our Lord Jesus Christ and desire to walk a closer walk with Him.

 

A group of seasoned men serious about Bible study. We study exclusively books of the Bible. Our Bible study method is a book at a time, a verse at a time. Come join us in our study!

 

Our members are mainly senior couples; however we have some singles as well. We have good fellowship and study the word of GOD.

 

The Becky Perkins Class is for the “young at heart”! It consists of ladies who love Sunday School and Bible Study. Everyone is dedicated, friendly, and wise but still learners. The ladies are very caring with one another and willing to reach out to others. Knowing more about our Lord Jesus Christ and growing a Christian heritage for our families and others is our commitment!
